for the flowery skirts of marketplace ladies,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2026 for the flimsy parasols,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2026 flapping tents of refugees<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">standing in rainwater,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">its speed will transfer<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">a child\u2019s cry nine light years, unheard<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">it has kicked off,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">it\u2019ll even erase the zebra\u2019s stripes,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">it\u2019ll brush away the flowers of restaurants plates,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">it\u2019ll squeeze the sap of the bare trees,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">punching the blushing and vulnerable face of city,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">it has kicked off,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">galloping, lashing, piercing<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">as if the sky\u2019s banner is about to be<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">ripped apart<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">it\u2019s pouring, pouring<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">all night,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">it\u2019s pouring, weeping, pouring<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">even the full moon is washed away<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">the bison of night<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">quite calm, grazing<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">in the prairie of sky<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">the belly of earth full<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">to the brim<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">sky, empty, composed and content<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">for now<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">aftermath<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">profitable<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">damages<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">who can muzzle the storm?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">tomorrow it\u2019s likely there\u2019ll be<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">another collision<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">clouds, colours, mountains, mires, my words<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>28 february 2020, amsterdam at dusk, it kicked off fisting in the fat face of sky, rumbling, roaring, raging, grumbling, lashing it has rolled up its sleeves arms akimbo to show who is boss here some roofs will fly ten miles upward pity for uprooted trees, sadness for the broken winged pigeon, oh no!
